Lighthouse Sounds – Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Lighthouse Sounds Inc. (“Lighthouse Sounds”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Studio Booking and Cancellation

2.1. Booking: All studio sessions must be booked in advance through our online booking system or by contacting Lighthouse Sounds directly. Booking confirmation is subject to availability.

2.2. Cancellation: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for session cancellations. Failure to do so will forfeit the deposit may result in a cancellation fee. Lighthouse Sounds reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, providing reasonable notice to the client.

3. Studio Policies

3.1. Code of Conduct: Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner while on the premises of Lighthouse Sounds. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of the session without a refund.

3.2. Equipment Usage: Clients are responsible for using studio equipment and facilities properly. Any damage caused by misuse will be billed to the client.

4. Payment and Invoicing

4.1. Payment: All studio sessions must have a 50% deposit be paid in full before the session begins. Payment can be made online or in-person at the studio.

4.2. Invoicing: Invoices will be provided for all services rendered by Lighthouse Sounds. Late payments may incur additional fees.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Ownership: Clients retain the rights to their intellectual property, including recordings created during sessions at Lighthouse Sounds.

5.2. Usage Rights: Lighthouse Sounds may request permission to use excerpts of client recordings for promotional purposes. Client approval will be obtained before any public use.

6. Liability

6.1. Lighthouse Sounds is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings, injury, or any other unforeseen incidents that may occur on the premises.

6.2. Lighthouse Sounds cannot guarantee the safe use or storage of digital audio files in our studio. While we do our best to keep data backed up in multiple locations, this storage is solely for client convenience. We strongly advise that you provide your own hard drive for backing up your audio files after each session and then take it home with you for safe keeping.

7. Privacy

Lighthouse Sounds respects the privacy of its clients and will not disclose any personal or confidential information to third parties without consent, except as required by law.

8. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Lighthouse Sounds reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Madison County, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
